Favorite bird
Okay, there may be more than one favorite bird because, whether we like it or not, “cat + bird” is as hand-in-hand as “cat + mouse." Sargent Bentley shares his favs here. What’s your cat’s?

Safe zones and brave hearts: Sargent Bentley’s first days at home
Sargent Bentley’s threshold moment — the instant when his need for safety met with his natural curiosity – unfolded faster than we expected when his little life began in his new home. Convention recommends that kittens begin in a closed room to adjust gradually. So Sargent Bentley’s room was in my “studio” — a place alive with light, pets, and the pulse of daily work, albeit light on art supplies these days. But even within that being a single room, it’s still a lively center with pets and family coming and going. So he needed a haven: a smaller circle of safety from which he could gaze out, gather courage, and begin his journey of trust. Enter the puppo pup tent.
Sargent Bentley’s safe travel pod
Every comfort cat has a safe beginning, and Sargent Bentley’s is no different. He journey home and first days with us were all about safe transitions and introductions. There were a couple of key tools that made his (and our) transitions easier. First and foremost: his Sleepypod crash-tested pet carrier. Here’s a little bit about that if you’re also someone who’s concerned about safe travel in the car.
