Sargent Bentley isn’t a car, a rank, or a logo born in a boardroom. He’s a Siberian Forest Cat—born in 2025, raised in a multi-pet household, and already proving he’s got the right mix of curiosity, adaptability, and charm to win over just about anyone. Around here, he’s Companion to Cat, Friend to Dog, and Professional Mood Booster for the humans.

The name? “Sargent” comes from Acadia’s rugged coastline, where Somes Sound and Sargent Drive remind us how much we love those restorative getaways. “Bentley” is old English for ‘a meadow of bent grasses’—a nod to his home base and the confident way that he carries his tail like a sled dog leading the way.

What we’re about

This site grew out of two simple truths:

1. Cats aren’t just background characters. They’re family, co-workers, everyday buddies, comic relief, and sometimes the only ones keeping us company between Zoom calls.

2. Life with a cat should feel joyful, not overwhelming. There’s plenty of noise out there about what gear is “best.” We’re here to cut through the clutter and share what actually works—in real homes, on real trips, with real pets. When it feels right–and not just when it’s “more.”

Our purpose is to lift your spirits, and underline the fact that the bond between you and your cat can feel doable, delightful, and connected.
